Role Summary: Rajasthan Police Constables support public safety operations through patrol, law enforcement assistance, community engagement, traffic management support, and incident response. This role requires discipline, physical fitness, integrity, and the ability to work in challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain public order and support law enforcement operations as directed by supervising officers.
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols in assigned areas to deter and detect unlawful activities.
- Assist in managing crowds, public events, and emergency situations.
- Support traffic regulation duties, accident response, and basic scene management when required.
- Respond to calls for assistance, provide initial support, and coordinate with senior officials.
- Prepare and maintain basic reports/records as per departmental procedures.
- Assist in ensuring security of government property and public places.
- Participate in training, drills, and fitness activities to maintain operational readiness.
- Follow departmental rules, code of conduct, and instructions related to safety and use of equipment.
Requirements
- Education: Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board in India.
- Age Limits (as per recruitment rules; reference date: 01 January 2026):
- All other posts: Minimum DOB 01/01/2008; Maximum DOB 02/01/2002 (Male), 02/01/1997 (Female).
- Driver post: Minimum DOB 01/01/2008; Maximum DOB 02/01/1999 (Male), 02/01/1994 (Female).
- Age relaxation as per Rajasthan Police/State Government regulations.
- Ability to qualify departmental selection stages such as written examination, PET, PST, document verification, and medical examination.
- Strong sense of integrity, discipline, teamwork, and willingness to work in shifts and field conditions.
Additional Eligibility (Telecommunication Roles)
- Telecommunication Operator/Driver: Rajasthan CET (10+2 level) qualified and 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Computer as subjects from a recognized board.
- Telecommunication Driver: Valid LMV/HMV driving license at least 1 year old as of 01/01/2026 (as applicable).
