Role Summary
As a Rajasthan Police Constable, you will support law enforcement operations, public safety, traffic and patrol duties, and (for telecom roles) police communication operations. Driver roles additionally support official transport operations as per departmental requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain public order and support community safety initiatives.
- Perform patrol duties, assist in incident response, and support investigation processes as assigned.
- Follow departmental SOPs, legal procedures, and reporting protocols.
- Coordinate with senior officers and team members during field operations.
- For Driver roles: operate assigned vehicles for official duty; ensure basic vehicle upkeep and compliance.
- For Telecommunication Operator roles: support communication systems, message handling, and operational coordination as per unit needs.
- Participate in training, drills, and periodic assessments.
- Maintain discipline, integrity, and professional conduct at all times.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Education: Rajasthan CET (12th Level) qualified; 10+2/HSC from a recognized board (post-wise as per notice).
- Telecommunication Operator: 10+2 with Physics & Maths / Computer (as specified).
- Driver License (Driver post): Valid license for HMV/Transport, LMV, and Motorcycle with gear (as specified).
- Nationality: Citizen of India, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan (as per notice).
- Language/Culture: Practical knowledge of writing in Devanagari Hindi and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.
- Age: As per post and category; age relaxation applicable as per Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment Rules.
