Responsibilities

• Teach Agriculture/Horticulture subjects at the senior secondary level as per the prescribed curriculum and academic calendar.
• Plan lessons, prepare teaching materials, and deliver classroom instruction using effective pedagogical methods.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and maintain academic records in accordance with institutional guidelines.
• Support student learning through mentoring, remedial instruction, and enrichment activities.
• Contribute to departmental academic planning, laboratory/field-based learning activities, and subject-related events.
• Maintain discipline and foster a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
• Coordinate with school administration and participate in meetings, trainings, and other institutional responsibilities.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and integrate awareness of Rajasthani culture into professional practice where appropriate.

Requirements

• Education: 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture (UGC-recognized) plus a Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject of Agriculture/Horticulture (UGC-recognized), and a B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• Language & Cultural Knowledge: Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and understanding of Rajasthani culture.
• Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 40 years. Age relaxation as per RPSC rules.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver structured, outcomes-focused instruction.
• Ability to maintain academic documentation and support examination/assessment processes.
