Responsibilities

  • Support groundwater investigations and resource assessment through field surveys and technical analysis.
  • Assist in planning and executing geophysical/hydrogeological studies, including data collection and interpretation.
  • Prepare technical notes, reports, and documentation required for departmental reviews and project records.
  • Support laboratory and field operations (as applicable to the post), including sample handling, testing, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate with senior officers and cross-functional teams for survey execution, monitoring, and compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, measurements, and supporting documents for verification and audit purposes.

Eligibility & Requirements

Age Limit (as on 01/January/2023)

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 40 years
  • Age Relaxation: As per government/RPSC rules

Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

  • Junior Geophysicist: Master’s Degree in Geophysics / Electronics from an Indian University with 02 years of experience.
  • Junior Hydrogeologist: Master’s Degree in Geology / Applied Geology OR Diploma in Applied Geology from an Indian University.
  • Technical Assistant (Chemistry): M.Sc. in Chemistry from an Indian University.
  • Technical Assistant (Hydrogeology): Master’s Degree in Geology / Applied Geology OR Diploma in Applied Geology from an Indian University.
