Position Overview
We are seeking motivated candidates for RRB Group D (Level 1) roles supporting day-to-day railway operations and infrastructure maintenance across multiple units. This opportunity covers a range of Level 1 posts such as Track Maintainer Grade IV, Pointsman, and various Assistant roles in workshops, electrical, signal & telecom, and coach & wagon departments. Selection is conducted through a structured process including CBT, Physical Efficiency Test, document verification, and medical examination.

Responsibilities
- Support safe and efficient railway operations by assisting with daily field/workshop activities as assigned.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs of track, assets, equipment, or electrical/mechanical systems depending on the allotted unit.
- Assist in inspections, fault reporting, and upkeep of assigned sections, tools, and materials.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety rules, and departmental instructions during shifts and field duties.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete tasks within timelines and operational constraints.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and readiness for rotational shifts and field conditions.
Requirements
- Education: Class 10 (High School) from a recognized institution or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.
- Age: 18 to 36 years (age relaxation as per applicable rules).
- Physical readiness: Ability to qualify the Physical Efficiency Test and meet medical standards as prescribed.
- Comfort working in field/workshop environments, including exposure to outdoor conditions and operational areas.
- Basic aptitude for technical/operational work; willingness to learn departmental procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions, work in teams, and adhere to safety and compliance requirements.
