Responsibilities
- Operate assigned vehicles safely and responsibly in compliance with traffic rules and departmental guidelines.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off for official duties as per schedules and instructions.
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, lights, brakes, tires) and report issues for maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the vehicle for daily operations.
- Keep required documents up to date (license, vehicle papers as applicable) and follow record-keeping procedures.
- Support departmental operations during travel, field visits, and official assignments.
Requirements
- Education: Must have passed Class 12 / Intermediate from a recognized board.
- License: Must possess a valid Driving License.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years driving experience (as per notification).
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per RSSB recruitment rules.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain discipline, and comply with government service standards.
