Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released a short notice for the recruitment of Forest Guard, Forester, and Surveyor roles. A total of 785 vacancies are proposed. Online application dates are expected to be announced soon.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental field operations as per the assigned role (Forest Guard/Forester/Surveyor).
• Participate in forest protection, patrolling, and related administrative duties (Forest Guard/Forester).
• Assist in measurement, mapping, and civil survey activities as required (Surveyor).
• Maintain discipline and comply with departmental rules and operational instructions.
• Work effectively in field conditions and meet physical standards required for the role.

Requirements

• Age (as on 01 January 2026):
  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 24 years (Forest Guard)
  • Maximum: 40 years (Forester)
  • Maximum: 40 years (Surveyor)
  • Age relaxation as per RSSB rules.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Forest Guard: Class 10 (Matric) from a recognized board.
  • Forester: Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
  • Surveyor: Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board and ITI Certificate in Civil Survey or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Language & Local Knowledge: Knowledge of working in written Hindi in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.
