Responsibilities
- Support protection and management of forest resources and wildlife as per departmental guidelines.
- Assist in patrolling, monitoring, and reporting activities related to forest conservation and safety.
- Support field operations, record keeping, and compliance activities as required by the department.
- For Surveyor roles: assist in survey work, measurements, and preparation/maintenance of relevant records and documentation.
- Participate in selection-stage requirements such as written examination, physical tests, document verification, and medical examination.
Requirements
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (Forest Guard): 24 years
- Maximum Age (Forester): 40 years
- Maximum Age (Surveyor): 40 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per RSSB rules.
Educational Qualification
- Forest Guard: Passed Class 10 (Matric) from a recognized board.
- Forester: Passed Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
- Surveyor: Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with ITI Certificate in Civil Survey or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Additional Knowledge Requirement (all posts)
- Working knowledge of written Hindi in Devnagari script.
- Knowledge of Rajasthan culture.
