Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance in the assigned engineering discipline (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/IT).
- Support planning, execution, monitoring, and documentation of technical activities as per departmental needs.
- Assist in preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams for troubleshooting, inspections, and resolution of technical issues.
- Participate in examination/verification processes as required for onboarding and role compliance.
Requirements
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per RSSB rules.
Educational Qualifications (Discipline-wise)
- Support Engineer (B.E. Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a university established by law in India or a recognized institution.
- Support Engineer (B.E. Mechanical / Electrical): Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a university established by law in India or a recognized institution.
- Support Engineer (Diploma Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from a university established by law in India or a recognized institution.
- Support Engineer (Diploma Mechanical / Electrical): Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Support Engineer (IT Expert): BE/Degree in Computer Science or IT / MCA from a university established by law in India or a recognized institution.
- Support Chemist: M.Sc. in Chemistry from a university established by law in India or a recognized institution.
