Position: Rural Agricultural Extension Officer (Executive) and Senior Agricultural Development Officer (Executive)

This role supports agricultural development initiatives across rural communities through field-level extension services, farmer outreach, and implementation support for government agriculture programs. Selected candidates will work closely with farmers, local stakeholders, and departmental teams to improve adoption of best practices and strengthen rural agricultural outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits and provide on-ground agricultural extension support to farmers and community groups.
- Promote improved agricultural practices, crop planning, soil health measures, and resource-efficient techniques.
- Support implementation of agriculture and rural development schemes at the village/cluster level.
- Collect field data, prepare reports, and maintain required documentation for departmental review.
- Coordinate with local institutions and stakeholders to facilitate trainings, demonstrations, and awareness programs.
- Assist in identifying local agricultural challenges and recommending practical, field-ready solutions.
- For SADO roles: contribute to supervisory/coordination activities, planning support, and program monitoring as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university (as per the referenced notification).
- Age Limit (as on 01/January/2020): 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per applicable rules).
- Selection Process: Written/Online Exam (candidate must be registered with MP Employment Exchange as noted).
- Job Location: Madhya Pradesh.
- Ability to work in rural/field environments and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Pay & Compensation
- SADO: Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + 3600 (7th Pay: Rs. 36,200 to Rs. 1,14,800)
- RAEO: Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + 2400 (7th Pay: Rs. 25,300 to Rs. 80,500)
