This role supports the safety, security, and orderly functioning of the Bihar Vidhan Sabha premises and associated facilities. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining vigilance, assisting in access control, and ensuring compliance with security protocols during routine operations and official events.

Responsibilities

Maintain security and vigilance within assigned areas, including entry/exit points and premises.
Support access control procedures, including verification of passes/IDs as per instructions.
Conduct routine patrolling and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security incidents.
Assist in crowd management and orderly movement during sessions, events, and high-footfall periods.
Coordinate with supervisors and relevant authorities during emergencies and follow escalation protocols.
Maintain discipline and adherence to security SOPs, including reporting and documentation as required.
Participate in training, drills, and fitness/physical readiness activities as directed.

Requirements

Education: Must have passed 12th (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India.
Age Limit (as per referenced notification): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 25 years (age relaxation applicable as per Bihar Vidhan Sabha rules).
Physical Eligibility (indicative):
- Male: Height 167.5 cm; Chest 76.5–81 cm; Running 1.6 km in 6 minutes.
- Female: Height 154.6 cm; Running 1 km in 6 minutes.
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
Strong discipline, alertness, and ability to follow instructions and security protocols.
Basic communication skills and readiness to work in a team environment.
