Supreme Court of India (SCI) invites applications for the role of Senior Personal Assistant (SPA). The position supports senior officials through high-accuracy stenography, drafting, file handling, scheduling, and confidential administrative assistance in a fast-paced judicial environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to assigned officers/benches/sections.
- Take dictation and prepare transcripts using English shorthand at the prescribed speed.
- Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, notes, minutes, and official documents.
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel-related coordination as required.
- Maintain records, files, and registers; ensure timely movement and tracking of documents.
- Operate computers and standard office software for document preparation and data handling.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional conduct.
- Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- Shorthand: English shorthand speed of 110 WPM.
- Typing: Computer typing speed of 40 WPM with computer operation knowledge.
- Age Limit: 18–30 years (as on 31 December 2024). Age relaxation as per applicable Supreme Court of India recruitment rules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Professional integrity and ability to handle sensitive information.
