Position: Senior Teacher Grade II (TGT) – Secondary Education
Overview: We are seeking qualified and dedicated Senior Teacher Grade II (TGT) professionals to deliver high-quality instruction at the secondary level. This role focuses on subject teaching, student development, classroom management, and active participation in academic planning and school initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate strong pedagogical skills, deep subject knowledge, and the ability to support diverse learners.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Teach subject content at secondary/senior secondary standards and support progression toward graduation-level understanding where applicable.
- Assess student learning through assignments, classwork, projects, and examinations; provide timely feedback and remediation.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation as per institutional requirements.
- Apply effective classroom management strategies to create a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Incorporate appropriate teaching methods, instructional aids, and activity-based learning to improve outcomes.
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development; collaborate with counselors/parents when necessary.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, exam duties, and academic committees as assigned.
- Contribute to co-curricular and cultural activities and promote awareness of local culture and values.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, child safety guidelines, and education regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized university with relevant subject combinations/optional subjects, along with a degree/diploma in education as applicable for TGT roles.
- Subject Specialization: Eligibility may be considered for general and specialized subjects (e.g., Science, Mathematics, Languages, Social Science) based on academic background and required subject combinations.
- Language & Cultural Proficiency: Proficiency in Hindi (Devanagari script) and working knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture.
- Age Criteria: Typically 18 to 40 years (age relaxations may apply as per applicable rules/policy).
- Skills: Strong communication, lesson planning, assessment design, and student engagement skills.
- Preferred: Prior secondary teaching experience, familiarity with educational psychology, and competency in modern teaching methodologies.
