SSC CGL Exam Support Specialist (Tier-II Candidate Assistance)

Position Summary

We are seeking an SSC CGL Exam Support Specialist to assist candidates with SSC CGL 2025 updates, portal navigation, and exam-related guidance—especially around Tier-II scheduling and related notices. This role focuses on clear communication, accurate information handling, and high-quality support to candidates who need help checking exam dates, results, answer keys, admit cards, and official notices.

This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented who can interpret official SSC notifications, explain processes in simple terms, and maintain strict accuracy and compliance when sharing information.


Responsibilities

  • Guide candidates on how to check SSC CGL Tier-II exam dates and related notices using Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth via the official SSC portal.
  • Provide step-by-step assistance for accessing key SSC CGL resources (e.g., Tier-I results, cutoffs, answer keys, re-exam city details, admit cards) while directing users to official sources.
  • Monitor and summarize important dates and updates (e.g., Tier-II exam schedule, correction windows, result announcements) and communicate them clearly to candidates.
  • Respond to candidate queries via email/chat/phone with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base articles and FAQs aligned with official SSC notifications.
  • Escalate technical portal issues or ambiguous cases to the appropriate internal team and track resolution.
  • Ensure all communications include appropriate disclaimers and encourage candidates to confirm details on the official SSC website.
  • Maintain data privacy and secure handling of candidate information.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in any stream (preferred), or equivalent experience in customer support, education support, or exam/career services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret government/exam notifications and translate them into clear candidate instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy (dates, links, procedural steps).
  • Comfortable using web portals, PDFs, and basic office tools (Google Workspace/MS Office).
  • Customer-first mindset with patience and professionalism when handling high-volume queries.
  • Understanding of common SSC CGL processes (application timelines, admit cards, answer keys, objections) is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting candidates for SSC, UPSC, banking, or other competitive exams.
  • Prior experience in content moderation, knowledge-base writing, or operations.
  • Familiarity with handling peak-period support around exam dates and results.
