Responsibilities
- Support plant operations and maintenance activities under supervision during the training period.
- Operate or assist in operating equipment and systems relevant to the assigned trade/area (e.g., mechanical, electrical, metallurgy, instrumentation, boiler operations).
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Participate in structured on-the-job training, classroom sessions, and skill assessments as prescribed.
- Assist in routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and reporting of abnormalities to supervisors.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and training documentation as required by the plant/training unit.
Requirements
- Operator Cum Technician (Trainee): Matriculation and Diploma in the relevant trade.
- Operator Cum Technician (Boiler): Matriculation and Diploma in the relevant trade plus 1-year Boiler Competency Certificate.
- Attendant Cum Technician (Trainee): Matriculation and must have passed the All India Trade Test (AITT).

Stipend / Pay During Training
- Operator Cum Technician: Rs. 10,700 per month (1st year) and Rs. 12,200 per month (2nd year)
- Attendant Cum Technician (Trainee): Rs. 8,600 per month (1st year) and Rs. 10,000 per month (2nd year)
