We are seeking a detail-oriented STET Answer Key Analyst to support the end-to-end lifecycle of answer key publishing for competitive and eligibility examinations. This role focuses on collecting official sources, validating question/answer mappings, identifying potential discrepancies, coordinating objection workflows, and preparing clear, accurate updates for candidates and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with large sets of MCQ data under tight timelines. You will collaborate with content teams, operations, and compliance to ensure answer key information is accurate, consistent, and presented in a candidate-friendly format.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and retrieve official answer keys and related notices from authorized sources (exam boards/commissions and official portals).
- Verify answer key accuracy by cross-checking question sets, series codes, and option mappings; flag anomalies for review.
- Standardize and structure answer key data for publishing (set-wise, shift-wise, subject-wise), ensuring clear labeling and version control.
- Support the objection process by documenting disputed questions, evidence references (syllabus/standard textbooks/official guidelines), and status updates.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate questionable items and maintain an audit trail of decisions.
- Prepare concise candidate-facing summaries (important dates, steps to download, how to raise objections, expected timelines).
- Perform QA checks on published content (links, formatting, completeness, and consistency across web/app channels).
- Maintain internal trackers and dashboards for release dates, revisions, and final answer key outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with content accuracy standards, copyright rules, and source attribution requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in education, publishing, or exam-prep domains.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in exam content operations, data validation, editorial QA, or similar roles (freshers with strong aptitude may be considered).
- Strong understanding of MCQ-based examinations, answer key formats, and typical objection/revision workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies across question paper sets and answer options.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets): filters, pivots, lookups, and basic data cleaning.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting clear instructions and updates.
- Ability to work under time-sensitive release schedules and handle multiple updates/revisions.
- Comfortable working with Hindi/English content; ability to proofread bilingual content is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with government/board exams, teacher eligibility tests, or competitive exam portals.
- Basic familiarity with CMS publishing workflows and HTML formatting for web content.
- Understanding of negative marking schemes, set/series mapping, and scoring logic (as applicable to different exams).
- Experience coordinating with SMEs or managing content review pipelines.
Benefits
- Opportunity to work on high-impact exam information that supports candidates nationwide.
- Structured processes and checklists to help you deliver consistently high-quality outputs.
- Learning exposure to multiple exam patterns, syllabi, and publication workflows.
- Collaborative team environment with clear ownership and growth opportunities.
- Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.
