Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for laboratory/research activities, including sample preparation, testing, and basic analysis as per standard procedures.
- Assist scientists/engineers in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and technical equipment.
- Maintain records, logs, and documentation related to experiments, equipment usage, calibration, and consumables.
- Support procurement and inventory management of laboratory supplies, spares, and consumables.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and laboratory best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of technical tasks and operational requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned in line with CSIR/centre requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma in a relevant field or B.Sc. degree in a relevant field with minimum 60% marks (as applicable).
- Experience: Desired/required experience as per CSIR norms and the relevant discipline (experience certificate may be applicable).
- Ability to follow technical instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to work in different CSIR locations across India, as allotted.
