Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for laboratory/research activities, including sample preparation, testing, and basic analysis as per standard procedures.
  • Assist scientists/engineers in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and technical equipment.
  • Maintain records, logs, and documentation related to experiments, equipment usage, calibration, and consumables.
  • Support procurement and inventory management of laboratory supplies, spares, and consumables.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and laboratory best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of technical tasks and operational requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in line with CSIR/centre requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma in a relevant field or B.Sc. degree in a relevant field with minimum 60% marks (as applicable).
  • Experience: Desired/required experience as per CSIR norms and the relevant discipline (experience certificate may be applicable).
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Willingness to work in different CSIR locations across India, as allotted.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Reference Date: As on 17 January 2023
  • Age relaxation may apply as per government/CSIR rules (where applicable).
