RPSC invites applications for the post of Rajasthan Police Sub Inspector (SI) – Telecom. This role supports police communications and telecom operations, helping ensure reliable field connectivity, technical readiness, and secure communications across assigned units.
Responsibilities
- Support operation and oversight of police telecom and communication systems as per departmental protocols.
- Assist in ensuring availability, reliability, and continuity of communication networks used for policing operations.
- Coordinate with technical teams and relevant stakeholders for troubleshooting, maintenance follow-ups, and system readiness.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to telecom operations, inspections, and assigned duties.
- Participate in field duties as required, including adherence to operational instructions and shift/roster needs.
- Comply with departmental standards, confidentiality requirements, and security procedures.
Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics OR B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE) OR Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) from a recognized university/college.
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025): Minimum 20 years; Maximum 25 years (age relaxation applicable as per RPSC/Rajasthan Police rules).
- Ability to qualify the selection stages, including written examination and physical/medical requirements as prescribed.
- Strong discipline, integrity, and willingness to work in a structured, service-oriented environment.
