Position Overview
As a Trade Apprentice, you will undergo a structured apprenticeship program in your allotted trade. The training focuses on developing practical skills, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and learning to work effectively in an industrial production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in trade-specific practical training as per the apprenticeship curriculum and MDL guidelines.
- Assist in shop-floor tasks under the supervision of skilled technicians and instructors.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality requirements.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and training records as required during the apprenticeship period.
- Support basic maintenance, fitting, fabrication, electrical, mechanical, or allied tasks depending on the trade.
- Prepare for assessments/examinations conducted as part of the apprenticeship program.
Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Group A (ITI Trades): Class 10 / High School pass from a recognized board and ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
- Group B & Group C (Non-ITI Trades): Class 8 and/or Class 10 pass (as applicable) from a recognized board.
