Responsibilities
- Maintain security, discipline, and order within the correctional facility as per departmental rules and procedures.
- Supervise inmates/undertrial prisoners and ensure compliance with institutional regulations.
- Support routine operations such as roll calls, movement control, searches, and monitoring of sensitive areas.
- Assist in incident prevention and response, reporting irregularities promptly through proper channels.
- Maintain records and carry out assigned duties related to custody, safety, and facility operations.
- Coordinate with senior officers and other staff to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Requirements
- Education: Passed Class 12th (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India.
- Language: Working knowledge of Hindi.
- Age Limit (as on 01 July 2022): 21 to 35 years (age relaxation as per rules).
