Responsibilities

Sub-Inspector (Confidential): Handle confidential documentation and communication; perform stenography and typing tasks; support senior officers with secure record-keeping and reporting.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk): Maintain office files, registers, and correspondence; prepare drafts/notes; manage data entry and routine administrative workflows.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts): Support accounts and finance operations; assist in maintaining ledgers, bills, vouchers, and reconciliation; ensure proper documentation and compliance with departmental procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams for timely completion of assigned duties and ensure accuracy in official records.
Follow departmental policies regarding confidentiality, integrity, and public service conduct.

Requirements

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2023): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 28 years (age relaxation as per UP Police/UPPRPB rules).
Educational Qualifications (role-wise):
- Sub-Inspector (Confidential): Graduate; Typing speed (English 30 wpm, Hindi 25 wpm); Stenography 80 wpm; CCC/Equivalent “O” Level course.
- ASI (Clerk): Graduate; Typing speed (English 30 wpm, Hindi 25 wpm); CCC/Equivalent “O” Level course certificate.
- ASI (Accounts): B.Com degree; Hindi typing 15 wpm; CCC/Equivalent “O” Level course certificate.
Ability to clear the written exam and qualify PET/PST as per prescribed standards.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under procedural guidelines.
