We are seeking a detail-oriented UPNEET 2022 Online Counseling Coordinator to support candidates through the online counseling journey for medical admissions. This role focuses on guiding applicants, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating timelines, and resolving queries related to registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with online portals, and able to communicate clearly with students and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Guide candidates through the UPNEET online counseling process, including registration, fee payment, choice filling/locking, and seat allotment steps.
- Provide accurate information on counseling schedules, eligibility, required documents, and reporting instructions.
- Verify and review candidate documents for completeness and correctness; flag discrepancies and advise on corrective actions.
- Maintain records of candidate interactions, submissions, and status updates in a structured tracking system.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (support desks, institutes, and portal administrators) to resolve issues and escalations.
- Respond to candidate queries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with drafting FAQs, process notes, and step-by-step guidance material for candidates.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of candidate data and documents.
- Monitor portal updates/notifications and communicate changes promptly to affected candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred); relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 1+ year experience in admissions support, counseling support, customer support, or education services (preferred).
- Strong understanding of online application/counseling workflows; familiarity with entrance exam counseling processes is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (spreadsheets, email, document management) and comfort navigating web portals.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under deadlines.
- Professional, empathetic approach when handling candidate concerns and time-sensitive issues.
- Ability to work in shifts/extended hours during peak counseling windows (as required).
