Position: UPPSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Officer
Overview: We are seeking high-potential graduates to join the Uttar Pradesh public administration cadre through the UPPSC Combined Upper Subordinate Services examination process. Selected candidates will contribute to governance, public service delivery, field administration, policy implementation, and citizen-centric initiatives across departments of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of government programs, schemes, and public welfare initiatives at the district/department level.
- Assist in administrative operations, including coordination with stakeholders, inter-departmental communication, and field-level supervision.
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to program performance, service delivery, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in inspections, grievance redressal activities, and citizen outreach to improve service quality.
- Prepare official notes, drafts, reports, and documentation in accordance with government procedures.
- Ensure adherence to applicable rules, guidelines, and ethical standards of public service.
- Work under senior officers and progressively take on responsibilities based on role allocation after selection and training.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Age (as on 01 July 2025): 21 to 40 years (age relaxation as per UPPSC/government norms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex administrative tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare structured official documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency for online systems, documentation, and data handling.
- High integrity, accountability, and commitment to public service.
- Ability to work in field conditions and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
