Position: Technical Education Service Instructor (Teaching/Training) – Various Trades

This role is part of the UP Technical Education (Teaching/Training) Service Examination and is intended for candidates who can deliver high-quality vocational and technical training across multiple trades. Instructors will be responsible for classroom and practical instruction, skill development, workshop/lab supervision, and supporting trainees in achieving program outcomes aligned with departmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical instruction in the assigned trade/discipline using appropriate teaching and demonstration methods.
- Plan lessons, prepare training materials, and structure practical sessions to meet curriculum and competency requirements.
- Supervise workshops/labs, ensure safe operating procedures, and maintain discipline and learning standards.
- Assess trainee performance through tests, practical evaluations, assignments, and continuous assessment methods.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment documentation, and other required administrative reports.
- Support trainees with guidance on skill improvement, employability readiness, and trade-specific best practices.
- Coordinate with institutional/departmental leadership to implement schedules, exams, and training initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government rules, training standards, and institutional policies.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree / BE / B.Tech in a relevant discipline (trade/subject as applicable to the post).
- Age: 21 to 40 years (age relaxation as per government rules).
- Ability to teach and demonstrate practical skills effectively in classroom and workshop settings.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining records, assessments, and training documentation.
- Working knowledge of safety practices and standard operating procedures relevant to the trade.
- Comfort with written examinations and selection processes as prescribed by the commission.
