Location: Pan-India (Hybrid/Remote support with occasional on-site coordination as required)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to support end-to-end operations for a national-level competitive examination cycle (UPSC CDS-I 2026). The role focuses on application lifecycle support, candidate communication, document verification readiness, coordination with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with published timelines and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the online application workflow, including application intake monitoring, query resolution, and escalation management.
  • Support candidates through the application process by providing accurate guidance on eligibility, document requirements, fee payment steps, and key dates.
  • Maintain trackers for application status, issue logs, and resolution timelines; ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Assist in publishing and validating applicant-facing updates such as notices, FAQs, and instructions aligned with official guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (IT/portal support, communications, compliance, and operations) to ensure smooth functioning of the application portal and related services.
  • Perform quality checks on content and workflows to reduce errors and improve candidate experience.
  • Support pre-exam readiness activities such as admit card communication workflows, helpdesk preparedness, and documentation checklists.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and information security practices while handling candidate information.
  • Prepare periodic status reports and operational summaries for leadership review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional qualifications in administration, HR, operations, or public administration are a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment operations, examination support, admissions, customer support/helpdesk, or similar process-driven roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines and high-volume workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain procedural steps clearly and professionally.
  • Comfortable working with online portals, spreadsheets, ticketing/helpdesk tools, and documentation systems.
  • Ability to interpret and follow official notifications, eligibility criteria, and process instructions.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling confidential candidate data.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting government exam/recruitment cycles or large-scale application processes.
  • Familiarity with fee payment workflows (net banking/cards/e-challan) and common candidate issues.
  • Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) and publishing workflows.
  • Ability to work in shifts during peak periods (e.g., last date of application, fee payment deadlines).
