Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented UPSC CDS-II 2025 Result & Recruitment Information Specialist to research, verify, and publish accurate public information related to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II) 2025. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality informational content (e.g., important dates, eligibility, vacancy details, selection process, and result-check instructions) using official sources and clear, user-friendly presentation.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong web content skills, a structured approach to information, and the ability to cross-check data against official notifications and websites.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track official UPSC updates related to CDS-II 2025, including written results, admit cards, exam schedules, and notices.
- Draft and publish structured informational pages covering: important dates, application fee details, eligibility criteria, age limits, vacancy breakdown, and selection process.
- Create step-by-step user guidance for checking and downloading results, including instructions for locating result PDFs on the official UPSC website.
- Validate all details (dates, figures, eligibility rules, links) against official sources before publication and update content when changes occur.
- Write concise FAQs addressing common candidate questions (e.g., where to check results, whether login is required, and result format).
- Maintain a consistent content template and ensure readability, clarity, and accessibility for a broad audience.
- Coordinate with editors/SEO team to optimize titles, internal linking, tags, and categories while keeping content accurate and compliant.
- Ensure disclaimers and attribution practices are followed, emphasizing that official sources should be treated as authoritative.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent experience in content operations, publishing, journalism, or education/career information services.
- 1+ years of experience in web content writing/editing, preferably in government exams, education, or recruitment information.
- Strong ability to interpret official notifications and convert them into structured, user-friendly content.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proven process for fact-checking and link verification.
- Comfort working with HTML-based content blocks (headings, lists, links) and content management systems.
- Ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines (e.g., result days) while maintaining accuracy.
- Familiarity with UPSC/defence recruitment terminology (CDS, IMA, INA, AFA, OTA, SSB) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals (metadata, keywords, internal linking) is a plus.
