Position Overview
We are hiring a UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Examination Test) Program & Result Support Specialist to support end-to-end exam operations and candidate assistance for large-scale recruitment examinations. This role focuses on coordinating exam timelines, publishing updates (admit cards, exam city details, answer keys, objections, final answer keys, results/score cards), and providing high-quality candidate support through official channels.
You will work closely with internal operations, IT/web teams, and customer support to ensure that critical information is accurate, timely, and easy for candidates to access. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling time-sensitive public-facing updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track the exam lifecycle milestones (application window, fee payment, exam dates, admit cards, exam city details, answer keys, objections, final keys, results/score cards).
- Publish and verify public notices and links for candidate actions (e.g., result download, notices, answer key downloads, objection windows).
- Support candidates with result/score card access guidance (e.g., required credentials such as application/roll number and DOB/password) and troubleshoot common access issues.
- Maintain accuracy of exam information including important dates, eligibility highlights, selection process, and official portal navigation steps.
- Collaborate with IT/web administrators to ensure pages and downloads are available, stable, and properly labeled; escalate technical issues promptly.
- Assist in drafting FAQs and help-center content (e.g., what to do if roll number is not in the selected list, where to check results, how to download documents).
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies for data privacy, candidate communication, and official-source linking (e.g., directing candidates to official portals when third-party access is unreliable).
- Prepare internal status reports on release readiness, candidate query trends, and issue resolution metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in exam operations, education administration, public-sector recruitment support, or customer operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple date-driven deliverables without errors.
- Working knowledge of online exam processes (admit card release, answer key publication, objection handling, result/score card distribution).
- Comfortable guiding users through official portal steps (e.g., navigating to “Examination” section, entering registration details, downloading PDFs).
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting notices, instructions, and FAQs.
- Ability to handle high-volume candidate inquiries calmly and professionally.
- Basic technical proficiency (web portals, PDF publishing, link validation, spreadsheets) and strong troubleshooting mindset.
- Hindi language proficiency is a plus, as candidate communications may include Hindi notices and queries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting government recruitment exams or large-scale standardized testing programs.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and publishing workflows.
- Familiarity with accessibility and clear-language standards for public instructions.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
- Health insurance and wellness support.
- Paid time off and public holiday calendar alignment (where applicable).
- Structured onboarding and process documentation to support success in a deadline-driven role.
- Opportunity to work on high-impact public-facing programs that serve large candidate populations.
