Overview: RSSB invites eligible candidates for the post of Village Development Officer (VDO). The VDO plays a key role in implementing rural development programs, supporting local governance, and improving delivery of public services at the village level. This role is suited for graduates with strong administrative skills and working knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of village-level development initiatives and government schemes.
- Coordinate with Panchayati Raj institutions and relevant departments to ensure effective implementation of programs.
- Maintain and update records, registers, and reports related to development works, beneficiaries, and progress tracking.
- Assist in conducting surveys, data collection, and field verification for scheme eligibility and outcomes.
- Facilitate citizen services, grievance reporting, and community outreach to improve awareness and participation.
- Ensure timely documentation, compliance, and readiness for audits/inspections.
- Use computer systems for data entry, correspondence, and preparation of official reports.
- Perform other duties assigned by competent authorities as per administrative requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university/college.
- Computer Qualification (any one):
- O Level Certificate course passed from NIELIT, or
- COPA Certificate, or
- Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Application, or
- RS-CIT Certificate from Rajasthan.
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025): 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per RSSB rules).
- Ability to work in field conditions and interact effectively with local communities and stakeholders.
- Basic proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of office/computer tools.
