POWERGRID ITI (Electrician) Apprentice 2025
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has invited applications for ITI (Electrician) Apprenticeship training for the year 2025. A total of 26 vacancies are available across locations in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Candidates who have passed 10th with ITI in Electrician trade or 12th with ITI in Electrician trade are eligible to apply.
Important Dates
The last date to submit the online application is 06 October 2025. All other dates (admit card, result, etc.) are not applicable as selection is merit-based without any written exam.
Stipend and Benefits
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 13,500. The training duration is one year from the date of joining. Candidates will gain valuable hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and operations at POWERGRID substations.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board and possess an ITI certificate in Electrician trade. Alternatively, candidates who have passed 12th along with ITI (Electrician) are also eligible.
Age Limit:Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms.
Selection Process
No written exam, interview, or skill test. Selection will be solely based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying ITI examination. In case of ties, candidates with higher 10th marks will be preferred.
