The Directorate of Health Services, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has released a recruitment notification for the engagement of Specialists on a contractual basis. A total of 35 vacancies are available across various specialities including General Medicine, General Surgery, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Radiology, and TB & Chest.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess an MBBS degree and a Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant speciality as per the norms of the Medical Council of India (MCI). Candidates should be registered with the respective state medical council.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for all categories is 65 years as of the last date of application.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary in the range of Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview to be conducted via Google Meet from 20 to 22 August 2025. A list of eligible candidates will be published on the official website on 13 August 2025.
