Andaman and Nicobar Administration Past Champion Athletes Recruitment 2025
The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Past Champion Athletes. A total of 6 vacancies are available for eligible candidates who have excelled in sports at the national or international level. This is a unique opportunity for athletes to serve the administration while continuing their association with sports.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following order of preference based on their sports achievements:
Individual Sports
- Represented India at a recognized International Competition under the recognized NSF/Association of respective Sports.
- Medal Winner at Senior National Past Championship conducted by recognized NSF, OR Medal winner at Khelo India Games.
- Medal Winner at National AIU Past Championship.
- Represented State/UT in Senior National Past Championships conducted by recognized NSF, or participation in Khelo India Games.
Team Sports
- Represented India at a recognized International Competition under the recognized NSF/Association of the respective sport.
- Part of a medal-winning team at the Senior National Past Championship conducted by the recognized NSF, or Part of a medal-winning team at the Khelo India Games.
- Part of the medal-winning team at the National AIU past championship.
- Represented State/UT in Senior National Past Championships conducted by recognized NSF, or participation in Khelo India Games.
Additionally, Past Champion Athletes/Coaches with NIS Certification could also be considered eligible.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for all candidates is 40 years.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000.
