ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಇನ್ಫರ್ಮೇಶನ್

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has issued a recruitment notification for the engagement of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in the capacity of Chowkidar. This is a direct recruitment drive under the Coast Guard Region North-West, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. A single vacancy is available for eligible male candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board. The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 27 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be carried out in three stages: first, screening of applications based on the eligibility criteria; second, an interview conducted by the ICG selection board; and third, a medical examination to ensure the candidate meets the physical standards prescribed by the Coast Guard.

Interested candidates must download the application format from the official ICG website or use the prescribed proforma. The duly filled application along with self-attested copies of required documents (educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate, photographs) should be sent by ordinary post to: The Commander, Headquarters, Coast Guard Region North-West, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The application must reach within 45 days from the publication of the advertisement i.e., on or before 10 November 2025.

The last date for receipt of applications is 10 November 2025. Candidates are advised to send the application well in advance to avoid postal delays.

General Information

This recruitment is only for the post of MTS (Chowkidar) and is purely on a temporary basis initially, but may be regularized. Selected candidates will be posted in the Gandhinagar region of Gujarat.
