Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on sponsored research projects. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong academic background and a valid national-level exam score.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Metallurgical & Materials Science, or allied disciplines. In addition, they must have qualified in GATE, CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship), or any other national-level examination conducted by a Central Government department or its agency.
Age Limit
The maximum age for general category candidates is 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates as per government norms.
Stipend
The selected JRF will receive a monthly stipend of ₹31,000 as per the institute norms.
