Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, has released a notification for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Training Scheme for the year 2025. The apprenticeship is specifically for Multi-tasking (MLT) roles and offers a great opportunity for candidates who have completed their 10th standard to gain practical training in a prestigious railway manufacturing unit.

Overview of ICF Apprentice 2025

This apprenticeship program is designed to provide on-the-job training to young individuals. Selected candidates will work under skilled supervisors and learn the nuances of various multi-tasking activities involved in coach manufacturing and maintenance. The total number of vacancies is 10, and the monthly stipend is fixed at ₹7,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:Candidates must have passed 10th standard (High School) from a recognized board. No additional technical qualification is required for MLT.
• Age Limit:The age of the applicant should be between 15 and 22 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per government norms.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based purely on the percentage of marks obtained in the 10th standard examination. A merit list will be prepared, and shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination. The final appointment will be subject to the verification of documents and medical fitness.
