The Uttar Pradesh Health Department announced on April 29, 2026, that a mega free health camp will be organized on May 1, 2026, simultaneously in all 75 districts of the state.

Services Offered

The camps will provide free consultations with physicians, pediatricians, gynecologists, and ophthalmologists. Free medicines for common ailments, blood sugar and blood pressure tests, and basic diagnostic services including hemoglobin and urine tests will also be available. Additionally, free vaccination drives for children and pregnant women will be conducted at each camp.

Expected Footfall

Officials estimate that over 10 lakh citizens will benefit from this initiative. Special focus will be given to rural areas and urban slums. Each district has been instructed to set up a minimum of 20 camp locations.

Government Directive

The Chief Medical Officer of each district has been directed to ensure adequate stock of medicines and deployment of medical staff. Ambulance services will be on standby for emergency referrals.
