The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from eligible engineering graduates for a short-term internship/project work training program. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates holding an ME, M.Tech, or MS degree to gain hands-on experience in defense research and development.

Internship Details

The internship will be conducted for a period of 6 months at various DRDO laboratories located in Maharashtra. Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. The program covers a wide range of specializations including Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Air Armament, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: ME/M.Tech/MS in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (age relaxation as per government norms).

Application Process

Interested candidates must send their application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents via Speed Post to the concerned DRDO laboratory. The application must reach within 10 days from the date of publication of this notification. No online applications are accepted.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the candidate's academic performance in the qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview or further evaluation as decided by the respective DRDO laboratory.
