This is a temporary position under a research project, initially for a period of one year, renewable based on performance and project requirements.
Overview of AIIMS Nagpur JRF Recruitment 2025
AIIMS Nagpur is one of the premier medical institutes under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute is looking for a motivated candidate with a strong academic background in life sciences to work on a funded research project.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:Candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Microbiology from a recognized university. Those with prior research experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
Age Limit:The maximum age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), and PwBD (10 years) as per government guidelines.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month as per Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and ICMR norms. No additional allowances or benefits are applicable.
Selection Process
The selection will be done in the following stages:
- Shortlisting of applications based on academic merit and research experience.
- Written test covering the core subjects of the relevant discipline.
- Personal interview of the shortlisted candidates.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in the written test and interview.
