The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Medical Laboratory Technologist. There are 15 temporary but likely to continue vacancies across various Ayurvedic research institutes in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:Candidates must possess a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, at least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Age Limit:Maximum 35 years for General category (as on the last date of application). Age relaxation as per government rules: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – 10 years.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month plus allowances.
Selection Process
Selection will be made through a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in multiple cities. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will undergo document verification. The CBT syllabus will cover professional knowledge, reasoning, and general awareness.
