Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has invited applications for the post of Office Assistant under the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC). This is a single vacancy for fresher candidates who possess typewriting qualification in English.

Overview

The Office Assistant will be responsible for clerical and administrative tasks in the KTDC. The post offers a pay scale of Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 43,600 per month. The job location is within Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed KGTE or MGTE Typewriting (English) lower examination or its equivalent. Those who cleared the typewriting examination before January 2002 must also possess a government-recognized certificate in Computer Word Processing, obtained after a minimum three-month course. Age limit is 18 to 36 years.

Application Process

Interested candidates must complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the official Kerala PSC website. After registration, they need to log in and apply for the post. No application fee is charged. Candidates must also confirm their participation for the test through their profile to download the admit card; otherwise, the application will be rejected.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a written test/OMR examination conducted by Kerala PSC, followed by a typing test if applicable. Final merit list will be prepared based on marks and reservation rules.
