The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Assistant Professor in the discipline of Statistics & Demography. Vacancy Details

There is only one vacancy for the Assistant Professor (Statistics & Demography) post. The selected candidate will be placed in New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have an MA in Statistics or Demography from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR or an equivalent test accredited by the UGC. The maximum age limit for General category candidates is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Salary

The selected candidate will draw a salary in the pay scale of Rs. 57,700 - 92,500 per month (Level 11 of 7th CPC). Other allowances as per NIHFW norms will also be applicable.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by an interview. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have relevant experience will be called for the interview.
