UPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced a massive recruitment drive for Assistant Professor positions across various government colleges and universities in the state. A total of 1253 vacancies are to be filled in disciplines including Economics, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Music, Persian, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu, and others.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Master's degree (MA) in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test like SLET/SET. Those who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree, provided they registered for the Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Age Limit
The age of the applicant should be between 21 and 40 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per government rules.
