Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Unani medicine. A total of 15 vacancies are available across various specializations including general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, ENT, and preventive & social medicine.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) degree from a university recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council (IMCC) or the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). Completion of a compulsory internship is mandatory. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid Teacher Code or have qualified the National Teacher Eligibility Test (NTET) as per the latest NCISM directive.
Age Limit
The age of candidates should be between 27 and 45 years. Age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST, and other reserved categories is applicable as per Bihar government rules.
