Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Jr. Research Fellow/Project Associate I in the field of Biotechnology. This is a contractual appointment for a duration of 6 months or until the termination of the scheme, whichever is earlier. The position is based at PAU, Ludhiana, Punjab.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a B.Sc. or B.Sc.(Hons) degree in Biotechnology or a closely related field from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants who hold a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Master's level are also eligible to apply. Preference may be given to those with NET qualification.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 37,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) if they have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET). Candidates without NET qualification will be paid Rs. 25,000 per month plus HRA.
