Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their DAF online from 06 August 2025 to 20 August 2025.
Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years as of 01 August 2025. Relaxation as per UPSC rules.

Indian Economic Service (IES): Candidate must have a Postgraduate Degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics from a recognized university.
Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics.

The main application started on 12 February 2025. The DAF (Detailed Application Form) started on 06 August 2025.
The last date to submit the DAF is 20 August 2025.
Minimum age is 21 years and maximum is 30 years as of 01 August 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms.
For IES: Postgraduate in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics. For ISS: Bachelor's with Statistics or Master's in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics.
