Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced an internship opportunity for postgraduate science students. The High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), Pune is seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates pursuing M.Sc. in Chemistry or Physics to join a 6-month internship program.

Internship Details

This internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹5000 and provides hands-on experience in defence research. The total number of internship positions available is 12. Candidates must be currently enrolled in the first or second year of their M.Sc. program at a recognized university or institute.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:M.Sc. (Ist or IInd year) in Chemistry or Physics.
• Age Limit:Maximum 28 years as of the last date of application.
• Experience:Freshers are eligible.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the candidate’s academic record and performance in the M.Sc. program. If needed, an interview may be conducted to finalize the selection.

Important Information

The internship duration is fixed at 6 months. The stipend of ₹5000 per month will be paid to all selected interns. The location of the internship is HEMRL, Pune, Maharashtra. Candidates from any state can apply, but they must be willing to relocate to Pune for the internship period.
