சர்காரி இன்ஃபர்மேஷன்

The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, invites applications from eligible candidates for the temporary position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a sponsored research project. The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project duration.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess ME/M.Tech/MS degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Applied Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university/institute. A valid GATE/NET score is mandatory. Candidates with at least 2 years of research experience will be preferred.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the General category is 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

Fellowship

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 42,000 per month as per the funding agency norms.

Selection Process

Applications will be shortlisted based on qualifications, experience, and valid GATE/NET score. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview, which could be conducted online or offline. The final selection will be based on the interview performance.

Important Note

The position is temporary and will be co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
