Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, commonly known as IIT BHU, has invited applications for the position of Young Professional (Mathematical Modeling) on a purely contractual basis for a sponsored research project. This is a great opportunity for MSc graduates with a background in mathematical sciences to work in a premier institute.
Project Details
The Young Professional will be engaged in mathematical modeling activities related to the ongoing project at IIT BHU. The initial appointment is for one year, co-terminus with the project duration, and may be extended based on performance and project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior research experience in mathematical modeling or related areas.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 32 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation may be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
Experience
At least 1 year of relevant experience in mathematical modeling or computational work is desirable. Fresh MSc graduates with strong academic records may also be considered.
