State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest public sector bank, has released a recruitment notification (Advt No. CRPD/SCO/2025-26/15) for the engagement of Specialist Cadre Officers on a contract basis. The post of Relationship Manager-Team Lead is one of the key positions aimed at strengthening the bank's relationship with high-value clients.

Overview

SBI is looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in finance and banking to lead and manage client relationships. The selected candidates will be placed at various locations across India.

Number of Posts and Vacancy Details

A total of 19 vacancies have been announced for the post of Relationship Manager-Team Lead. All posts are on a contract basis for an initial period of 5 years, renewable at the bank's discretion up to an additional 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institute: B.Com / B.Com (Hons), Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or ICWA / CMA.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be between 28 and 42 years as on the date of notification. Age relaxation is not specified; however, all categories are considered within the same range.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields such as banking, finance, or relationship management.

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹750
• SC / ST / PwBD: Nil (Exempted)

The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online through the SBI application portal.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting:The bank will shortlist candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and other criteria as per the bank's discretion.
2. Interview:Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal, telephonic, or video interview carrying 100 marks. The final merit list will be based solely on interview scores. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred.

6. Pay the application fee (if applicable) and submit the form.
7. Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Terms and Conditions

The contract period is for 5 years, renewable up to a maximum of 9 years (initial 5 + 4) at the bank's discretion. Either party may terminate the contract by giving 2 months' notice or by paying/surrendering 2 months' compensation in lieu of notice. The contract may also be terminated immediately in case of misconduct or unsatisfactory performance.
