Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad) invites applications for the post of Project Assistant (Civil Engineering) on a contractual basis. This is a temporary position under a research project, offering an excellent opportunity for fresh postgraduates to gain hands-on experience in concrete technology and structural testing.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on concrete and other construction materials as per Indian Standards (IS). Duties include comprehending test procedures, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and documenting results.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:ME/M.Tech/MS in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, or Construction Technology. Candidates must have basic knowledge of concrete technology and relevant testing methods.

Age Limit:Maximum 31 years as of the last date of application.

Salary

Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 25,000 per month based on qualifications.
