The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is looking for a qualified Young Professional to handle IT-related responsibilities. This is a full-time contractual position based at the IIT Ropar campus in Punjab.

Job Overview

The selected candidate will be engaged as a Young Professional – IT and will assist in the institute's IT infrastructure and support activities. The role is ideal for fresh graduates with a B.E/B.Tech degree who are looking to gain experience in an academic environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Big Data Analytics, Chemical Science and Technology, or a closely related field.

Age Limit:The upper age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation may be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

Salary and Tenure

The monthly honorarium is fixed at Rs 25,000. The engagement is purely contractual and will be governed by the institute's norms. The initial tenure is as decided by IIT Ropar.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview. No written test or online application is required. Applicants must appear in person at the designated venue with all necessary documents.
